2 seen as turn it upside down
roman numerals, turn the page upside down?
2 I+Ix = 10
3...20
2 Turn it upside-down X = I + IX
5+5+5 ≠ 550
Make the plus sign between the first two 5s into a 4, giving the sum 545 + 5 =550.
add the straight line to one of the + signs to make 545 + 5 +550
5+5+5 ≠ 550
^ sorry that should be = 550

Thanks everyone for your answers much appreciated.

Also another question

How many 6 inch square bricks will it take to complete a 5 foot x 1 foot wall
20?
No, can't count
On the other hand...20
Yes you can, Jo. It is 20
Thanks, sandy :)
Since these seem to be logic problems rather than straight maths, 20 is too obvious an answer.
It takes ONE brick to complete the wall. After the first 19 it is still incomplete!
