Organic matter is what life forms are made of, so not necessarily life but the precursors of life.

It's obvious - Mars is the original home of mankind and when we used up everything that planet could offer we moved to this planet, The proof is in all the litter we left behind and which has been preserved by the lack of air. (my excuse for this is any theory is better than none, and this is mine)

It doesn't matter how much double-checking they say the've done, people who don't like whatever it is that they say they've proved, or who don't want to believe it, will just chalk it off as another science blunder, like those faster-than-light particles of a few months ago. Remember: a "fanatic" is someone who won't accept ANY supposed disproof of what he believes in.

I seem to recall that some years ago fossils of micro-organisms thought to have originated on Mars were found in a piece of space rock – or something like that. Am I mistaken?
