I have googled myself silly with these three and can't come up with anything.

Hi Marje, are you sure on 89?

Can't guarantee these are right but I have the following:

7. Libre Concurrance, 57. Laissez Majesty, 113. Thames & 121. Cilantro.

7 & 57 need checking as I am not 100%.

Hope this helps, Good Luck!!!

113 - I do not think that there was a Thames car - remember there are three clues in this question. You may need to travel to Yorkshire.
Hi Showboat,

Yes, I'm sure it's bolide. I've just checked the dictionary and it means a large meteor or fireball which explodes in atmosphere - from the Greek bolis - missile, but check it yourself just to be doubly sure.

Thanks for the other answers. I'll check them and see what I can come up with.

Before I go, what answer have you got for Q11? I've got Irish Lancer as the question says 5 and 6 letters but you'd think it would be Lancers. I've tried the query line but no-one there.
Q11. I've got Irish Guards
and Q.121 Coriander
Hi again Showboat. Just checked Laissez Majesty and couldn't find it. However, I did find the correct answer which is Lese Majesty. Thanks for the prompt.
Hello Hotrocker. You're probably right with Irish Guards. The Irish Lancers do have the same motto, but their name has too many letters. Will check Coriander.

Thanks
Cilantro is another name for Coriander.
125 - I've got intaglio
7 - hors concours - checked in oxford dictionary
113 - humber
Thanks Silly Moo for hors concours and Humber.
I think though that intaglio is wrong.

Drypoint specifically refers to engraving on copper and dates from the 15th century. The website I found also refers to the 'burr' it creates and the rich quality of the print.

I think you're right marje
Thanks
Glad to help Silly Moo.
No 11 I have "Irish Rifles" which fits the 5 & 6 clue.
Q11. There are a few Irish Regiments with that motto. I found a site which refers to it being the motto of the Order of St Patrick and usually appears with its founding date:
Quis Separabit MDCCLXXX111. This refers to the Irish Guards.

http://www.regiments.org/tradition/mottoes.htm, then scroll down to quis separabit, click on Irish Guards and you'll see the badge with that date on it. None of the others have it.

Hope this helps.
marge, the name 'coriander' is based on the Greek work
'kopis' which means 'bug'. Cilantro is an alternative word for coriander but is presumably not derived from the same Greek origin
Hi Hotrocker

Q121. I'd already gone with coriander for this one, as you say cilantro is only an alternative name.

Thanks for verifying it for me.
