My fiance's alarm woke me, he has to work on Sundays :(
We often get woken by the neighbour's German Shepherd barking it's nuts off or the other neighbours clomping up and down stairs and banging doors, they were actually quiet both sides today for once.

I felt sharp pains in my arm and a weird purring noise - and when I opened my eyes I got a eyeful of tom cat ar5e. My furry alarm.

the next door neighbour's front door banging. they've not fixed it since we've been here... 17 years. I despise them!

Sara, that pretty much sums up how we feel about our neighbours. We have been 'warned' by the dog owning neighbour's son not to 'harass' her over the noise because her husband died on Christmas day. We never did harass her, we just asked her to train the stupid mutt to not bark all day every day.

A very large GSD, who thinks that as soon as the sun comes up so should I, before long he'll be waking me up at 05.00. The boss thinks its funny as he never bothers her he just comes to my side of the bed and keeps hitting me with his paw till I get up

mine started drilling at 10pm on Friday. they've been late-night DIYing for the last 18 months. I've asked them nicely, and 3 of them have mocked, laughed and leered in my face.

Despite my knees hanging over the edge of the bed.............I was nudged in the back and asked to move over a bit !!! :o(

paddywak - unusual trait in a dog. My dog used to just sleep until I got up.

Cats can be spiteful little monsters - they all develop their own way of wakening the servants up.

I must be lucky in that even though I live in a flat the noise of the neighbours seldom bothers me. I am really going to regret saying that. ;-)

Nothing at all, damn my effective body clock, awake at 6:30 every morning regardless of if I've got to go to work or not :(
