As you may or may not know, NUFC gave Sunderland AFC the drubbing of their lives in terms of recent local Derbies last Sunday.

The following comes from our NUFCfavourite discussion board. Truth is stranger than fiction sometimes.

The Box Office Telephone Number For The Stadium Of Sh*te :-)

The Box Office telephone number for the Stadium Of Sh*te is 0191 5 5-1 5-1 5-1 but for some reason (?) they have gone and changed it This isn't a joke, try phoning the number for yourself and listen to the recorded message.

And the post code for the Stade de Merde is SR5 1SU.

Why do you think that, chrissa,I have a Season Ticket for both Grounds?
Question Author
Blimey, never heard of that one before.
I'm afraid I love watching all the North-East Teams, chrissa. Sorry.

Ee Man, don't apologise. it's just that my sister and brother-in-law are Newcastle Season ticket Holders and she tells me of the hatred she sees in the Sunderland Fan's faces at these matches. You must be a true football lover.
I just phoined the number, abd a pleasant lady offered be ab alternative number - am I misssing something here?
Chrissa it works both ways, the hatred on faces I mean. When I was younger( a long time ago) Iused to go to St James one week and Roker park the next and everyone mixed in and had a laugh. I havent been to a local derby for years because of the atmosphere

Andy - Newcastle thrashed Sunderland 5 - 1 last week. That's why they've changed the number.
Thats how I started, alexanderd, back in the Forties when Football was Football,Grandstand and The ITV Version on Saturdays was the beginning of the end for Attendances of 50 and 60,000's regularly.Plus,Players were Men in those days, not the pampered Prima-Donnas a lot of them are now.

I couldn't agree more.
