Going on holiday very soon and I recently spotted thee perfect dress for going on holiday:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk...3D6517427215720409565

Thinking this was a red dress with red seqins I was massively dissapointed when the dress arived to discover the top half was covered in black mesh and black sequins. I called up a dressmaker and asked if this could be fixed and they told me it would be very very expensive since they would need to hand sew each sequin on individually.

Then I came across a website that has sequins already sewn onto red mesh. Could I take out the black sequined mesh and sew on the red sequined mesh? Would this work? I have no idea about any of this stuff. But I really want this dress!!!

tht works! i really wana fix the dress cos i like the style...do u guys think it could be done?
Sequin fabric is hard to work with and unless you are pretty experienced at dress making I would suggest you track down someone who can do it for you...it would probably cost about the same to copy the dress from scratch using fabric you prefer... especially as I would guess the rest of the fabric has a high lycra content .
