Ive no Idea what your Skin regime has to do with this question Nomercy but I've used the great rejuvinating and replenishing pistachio face mask from body shop too but it sounds like you've left it on for to long.

This is a champney's face mask, but it's only been on a couple of minutes or so.
Well whatever mask you have on always wash it off before it gets hard and starts to crack. This is the key.
