Surely any meter belongs to the supply company so isn't yours to move ?

By elsewhere you mean to a house down the road, or a different country, or just to a different room ?

I suspect it isn't worth the effort. Supply companies supply meters appropriate for their supply.

A gas meter can be moved, so why not an electric meter?
