I was delighted last week to be able to nominate Aquagility as this coming month’s royal setter of MM Links. He has proved over the years to be one of the cornerstones of our Prediction Game and I am sure that we shall much to learn from him (and about him)!

As always, I need to create a suitable royal title to replace Aquagility’s during this, his five-week reign. Once I learned that his real name is “Robin”, this became a formality. Playing on that quintessential English hero, “Sir Robin of Locksley” (the original Hoodie), I dub Aquagility: “Sir Robin of LINKS-ley”.

I am truly looking forward to welcoming “Sir Robin” when he makes his inaugural launch tomorrow morning ~ starting his posting at 8.45am and declaring his four words to be linked at 9.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember (with MM Links) ~ early hits gain bonus points!

Of course, you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz and goes by the name of “seekeerz”. As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

Until I see you tomorrow ~ “Happy Linking”!

:o)
Welcome, Sir Robin of the Links (makes you sound like a golfer!).

I look forward to a crew of Coffee Grinders, Powder Monkeys, 3 Bar Stokers and being Three Sheets in the Wind whilst trying to work out your links!!
'Robin', eh? That wouldn't be Knox-Johnston, by any chance....
That takes me back, Strix. Used to listen to it on a 78 , and the other side 'What is life'. On an old radiogram.... Btw I preferred your previous avatar!
Thanks Crofter, look forward to Aqs links
Looking forward to Sir Robin's Links...wonder if they have a nautical theme?
Maybe we could launch it with a bottle....or two!
hope you are not going to waste that bottle or two Pauline!
much better to drink it then smash the bottle!
If we get him drunk he might talk!...
Jan...plenty of bottles in our cellar....I mean Sarumite's bedroom! :-)
I'm more than happy to share my room with the spirits!! ;O)
Strix, ignore my last comment. I've just pressed Ctrl+F5 again and found a third picture - or maybe there have been dozens in between last week and this? This one is a very aristocratic owl and I love it!
Hi Sarumite.... Your dungeon awaits!

I prefer Strix's new avatar also tearinghair. I was seeing a rather odd one too!
Mind you...talking of odd ones!! :-))
