hi all,
How do i go about giving a private number plate off my car to someone else and getting the normal number plate back on the car?

I think you will have to do it in 3 stages.

Stage 1, Change registration of vehicle from private back to original.
Stage 2. Transfer ownership of private number plate to third party.
Stage 3. Third party then changes registration of vehicle from original to private.

Magicmerlin is right but you have do do it through your local DVLA office and not Swansea. It'll cost you about �105.
