MM and KM Links May 2009 [Week 1]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this first week in a rather unique situation when the remarkable seekeerz (aka Steff) will take over the world, in that she will be the major player in both hemispheres ~ that is, in both MM and KM Link Games. In spite of the distance in time and space between the UK and Oz, she has maintained the KM scoring for over two years and has done a fabulous job.

At this point in time, I usually construct a suitable title for the incoming champion to mark his/her regal status. I considered Sultana Steff, but that sounds too fruity! I think I'll settle for Her Serene Highness Stephanie of the Southern Climes or something similar. I'll have to exercise a little caution or I may end up in the Tower!

I'm back but can't see any posts from Laney. Just been talking to my son and guess what...........he has virtually sold his house!!!! Young couple in rented have made an offer after 2nd visit, have got their mortgage. James and Sarah made an offer for the one they want and had it accepted (it has been on market since Jan). People selling have already bought another property down South, so fingers crossed that all goes well.
Haven't had a Baileys for ages so think I will get one.
I may be seeing Laney tomorrow as my daughter and family are at folk festival at Upton on Severn and I may go and see them. It's only 8 miles from Laney and she's invited me to go and see her. In fact she invited me and dogs to stop overnight!!!!! She must be mad!!!!!

Hi dustybun...it's about 9 miles...not too far. Two of my daughters have been to Turkey on their own! I willl be glad to see them safely back...but glad they have been and had a great time. They spoke to me last night...and the youngest said she is shattered!! Huh!! I have done all their washing..tidied their rooms...shopped and cleaned the house for their return!...and looked after their pets!

They have been all inclusive in an hotel on the beach! It's a hard life! :-))

Pauline ~ do I detect just a smidgin of empty nest syndrome? :0) It sounds like they will need a holiday at home to recover from this one so you will be kept busy!

Very good twix! I must be careful though...I only whisper complaints about them now...cos we have only just started getting our post in the morning again! It was coming anytime up to 3pm!! So I rang and asked what had happened to the 'morning' post. It has suddenly gone back to mornings..but I reckon I am a marked woman now! :-(
