Hi,

help needed!

11a "Game - card game with daughter leading diamonds" (5,4). p_k_r , _i_e.

I have a brain block with poker here but can't get any sense out of it.

2d "One may be this, on and after a wayzgoose!" (3,3,1,4,4)

Am guessing that the answer is "out for a good time" but don't understand the clue. My CED says that wazygoose is a printer's day out but that still leaves me in the dark.

6d "A novel type of Mullein"

Am sure that the answer is Aarons Rod as a type of Mullein but how does the rest of the clue relate.

Sorry for being so thick - have only been doing this the last few months so pointers appreciated.

Thanks,

Smicks.

Thanks for the answers guys/gals.

Mental note ice = diamonds.

Still not sure what sort of game "Poker Dice" is - not in my CED dictionary anyways!

What about 2d though - is it just a rubbish clue?
