God knows what i've done but the task bar that runs along the bottom of my laptop has disappeared and everything has moved to the side of the window beside me sidebar.....i've tried messing about with all the different tool bar options but nowts happened, any ideas?
If a toolbar moves to an unwanted position (such as the top or side of your screen), you can move it back again by simply clicking on it and (while keeping the mouse button held down) dragging it back to the original position. (It's sometimes necessary to right-click on the toolbar first, and select 'unlock toolbar'). It can be a bit tricky to get this to work; it often takes several attempts.
If a toolbar seems to completely disappear from the bottom of your screen, it's probably still there but with its height set to zero. Place the cursor at the very foot of your screen. It should change to a double-headed arrow (indicating that it's resting on the top of the toolbar). Click and drag to pull the top of the toolbar back to its normal position.
right click on an empty space on it & select properties, now tick the box that says lock the taskbar. This will prevent it from going for another sunday afternoon bimble.
your task bar should be in another position of the computer may be side or the upper side of the windows.
click on the task bar and drag it in to the lower side of the windows and drop.
your task bar will back into the original location.
after back the original location of the task bar
right click on the task bar and select the option lock the task bar.
