Is it BABE or BABE? I think it's BABE!! B with AB (Able-Bodied seaman followed by E)
babe ( AB in Be )
Lancing - The name of a public school
Its babe - be with ab(Jack) inside (embracing.
Lancing means to cut something and is also a college on the south coast.
Question Author
Hi, thanks for the replies, my first question should have been BABE or BABY.I was thinking of the jack of spadesetc, a car jack, but not a jack tar(seaman). I knew lancing was making a cut as in lancing a boil, but I had not heard of the school (we northerners are very parochial!
