Aircrew
(17a Gaols)

Twee (d)
Question Author
Yes,

I made a mistake when I wrote in GOALS instead of GAOLS and didn't notice until after I gad posted the question. I worked out aircrew, but I couldn't see how that is a busy fkier although it fits the rest of the clue perfectly. TWEE is a bit tenuous, though?

Thanks a lot,

Brian.
twee is pretty. Tweed is a river (flower) in the England/Scotland border area, and shortening it gives twee.
