Can you freeze cooked chicken? Like a 1/2 roast chicken.

I have done so many times, and we are all still here to tell the tale :-)
Freezing chicken that's been cooked is fine.

What you must not do is re-freeze uncooked chicken that you have defrosted.
Freeze the chicken covered in stock or gravy as otherwise it will dry out. You can carve most of the meat off the carcass to freeze in this way and make stock or soup from the bones. If you do not have time for the stock you can freeze the carcass and make it later. This will still dry out but as you will be boiling it once defrosted it will not matter.
