snow?
If we get any in this country, it's usually pitiful and doesn't last. Try living in Canada - a friend of mine visits from there & finds it hilarious how we all panic at the prospect of a couple of inches... ;-)

and we are in the gutter on post one :)

I was just waiting for a comment like that to pop up... I knew it wouldn't take long ;-)

I certainly wouldn't panic at the thought of only a couple of inches - unless it was panic as in: "is that all I'm going to get?"
yo, Salla !!

(how's that for an eloquent post! my old teachers would be proud)
I have a cousin in Winnepeg......minus 35 there for a few weeks and tons of snow.....she sent me some pics....made me shudder........and there she was laughin.......weirdo....lol :-))
(J had been going to make a comment about liking it deep, but forgot)
Question Author
Deep is more satisfying, I must agree. Makes it seem all the more worthwhile having.
sorry !!!

what for sleepy? Lowering the tone? I'm pleased someone got there before I did (although I did sort of (unintensionally?!) lead you into it ;-)
i would panic if it was more than 10 inches lol
Question Author
It would be a lot to take in sleepy, all at once.
I think I would just turn over and stay in bed.
It's great when it's all fresh and firm, and you can play with it. I don't like it when it goes all soft.
Question Author
No I agree JJ - once it's all gone soft it's pretty boring really. And not nearly as pretty a sight to behold....
I've got a foot ! But i don't use it as a rule:-)
Salla's right ... we'd all stay in bed if we were getting 10 inches, wouldn't we?

It would be hard to walk around after getting that much.
groans at carrust ... !

(where was that from ... a smutty Christmas cracker?)
Question Author
Yes it would be very hard going.
And no-one yet has mentioned protection - I think we would definitely need some.
I hate the slush it leaves behind..... :-((
Old joke JJ.Did you manage to ski ok with a mattress strapped to your back??? :-)
Well, it's not forecast here.

I like to know when it's coming so you can be ready for it.
