I have been working my way through a Food and Drink Cryptic Clue Quiz for ages and have got completely stuck on some questions. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Below is the clue and in brackets the number of letters in each word.

Thinking out load here now, just looked again at
Rhyming Kings Statue and wondering if its a spelling mistake and it should be
Rhyming Kings Statute.... which could then be COLESLAW
(Old king Cole / Statute = Law
Unless anyone else comes up with something better
how about...1.mousse, 10. noodles, 19.duchess (as in potato!)
