Looks like I'll have to take a trip to the BIG library.
This is driving me nuts.
Question Author
It's tough isn't it. I thought I'd quite quickly find a site listing towns named Santa, Jesus etc. but no.

Google Maps seems no help either.

I'm wondering whether it was mentioned in a QI episode, maybe a Christmas special ?

I think I'll need individual maps of each country, with an index listing even the smallest of towns. It's very rare that the Internet lets me down !

Thanks for trying !
I'm going to keep trying too. I thought I found a great site

http://www.fallingrain.com/world/

But still no joy, I ended up testing it (I should have done that first) to see if it knew of a 'blink and you'd miss it' village beside me, but it didn't, so I just wasted time LOL.

What's the prize, BTW?
Question Author
I found that site, too. But it only goes as far as Cities, doesn't it?

There's four weekly quizzes with weekly prizes. This week its a travel board game, pen set, holdall and Skype phone.

The overall prize is 120 of Boots vouchers, so its worth winning.
If I get these and you win, I expect 30 of those vouchers ;o)
Question Author
We're only a quarter of the way there yet, so we'll see............

I did win a 300 TV last Christmas, so I may have to use a pseudonym in case my entry mysteriously disappears !
LOL, Lakitu would be a great one to use :o)

Congratulations on the win, what a great prize! Right, I'll going back to the search :o)
Question Author
I'm going to try the local library at lunchtime, and the big library tomorrow.
There is a place called Jesus in France!
Jesus La Reina, Santiago is in Chile! woo hoo!
Question Author
I thikn Jesus, Chile may be just a street, so I'm not sure it that counts.

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=%22+jes us+la+reina+%22+chile&meta=
Hmmm.......I'll keep digging

(can you suck up to the quiz master? LOL)
Question Author
It quite clearly states " Any attempt to discuss the answers with the organisers will result in immediate disqualificiation " ....So I don't think so.

I think I'll be spending quite some time in the library tomorrow !

Thanks for your help.

Here's some questions I have managed to get, if you want to try them for fun ?

In what countries are Zwarte Piet celebrated at Christmas time?

In what countries are Uskza eaten at Christmas ?

What is similar about the last three Christmas Number Ones ?
Question Author
Sorry, that first one is just Country not Countries.
Zwarte Piet must be Afrikaans - so South Africa ?
Question Author
No

The trip to the local library didn't help much, there's a Jezeau in France and a Santa Maria and a Santa Margarita in Greece, but that's all I could find.
Hehe, I didn't see those extra questions until now, I will give them a bash.

In the meantime, you took the thought right out of my head, what if we look up the spelling of the work in the language of the Country and see if we have any joy that way?

I found those Santa's in Greece too, are you allowed to approach the quizmaster for clarification that 'Santa' is not the only word in the name of the town?
1. Netherlands (Black Pete)

2. Poland and Lithuania

3. They're all by X Factor contestants
