I can't stop long ~ I'm running late! All this week I have been spending time doing DIY in the Spare Room trying to remove the Artex from the ceiling! I've just showered and with one eye on the clock I'll press on!
Tomorrow morning brings the start of Round 3 in the Reign of King Wickedtongue and (I hope) a return to the multitude of points that we saw in Round 1. I personally think he has a nice touch when it comes to choosing Themes and Link Words and I still cannot see why the points dried up last week!
Tonight will be especially cold but I believe that the Shrubbery Squad will do their best to brave the elements and be ready for the MM Links Game when it opens at 08.45 and the chosen words to be linked declared at 09.00 tomorrow morning. If you are an early riser, you may like to chance your arm with the sister game (called KM Links) which will be nearly two hours old by the MM launch time! These games are kept open for a couple of days to register your predictions.
Me? I'm crofter keeper of the scores for MM Links! Will newcomer roslyn show the regulars how to make successful predictions once again? Why don't you tune in and find out!
Did you see this yesterday ?? As they are based in Brixham and are friends of my son in law I am touting for your vote. Unlike the other nominees the lifeboat crew don't get paid for doing this job, they are totally voluntary so please vote for them before Sunday evening
Really sorry, it should be theGMTV clip about Pride of Britain Awards with the Torbay lifeboat crew. Don't know where it's gone to so I will bid you all goodnight. See you next week!!!!
Never mind Kay - agree with you about the Lifeboat service, they do a superb job and all are volunteers for this dangerous work.
Goodnight, enjoy your weekend
I managed to find the clip Kay, and followed up with my vote on the website. The Lifeboat Service is one that I'll always support. Goodnight and enjoy your weekend with the grandchildren.
x-ray - nice one. I saw Roy Orbison a few times in the early sixties at various music award ceremonies, along with Cliff and the Shadows, Adam Faith et al, which also had some up and coming bands such as the Rolling Stones!
