MM Links - September - Week 3

Well here I am halfway through my reign as 'Crown Jools', it is going so quickly. And I'm really enjoying myself. It's a shame I won't be able to do my own posts for the last 2 weeks as I will be away.
When I first signed on to AnswerBank in March 2005, little did I know that I would make so many cyber-friends on here. I love the camaraderie we have here and on the other site. It's wonderful to know that you can get almost instant help on practically any puzzle. And I enjoy giving that help to others too. Those in the Telegraph I can usually manage, but the Generalist is another matter. Also the support and friendship, I am so pleased I found AnswerBank, more important, the people on it.
The Links Game was first thought up by ShamrockBlue in October 2006 based on Links between the Saturday Crossword and the Monday Herculis and continued by crofter ably assisted by Gen 2, when other comitments made it impossible for ShamrockBlue to continue. Then the sad death of Michael Mephan brought about the birth of the MM game as it is now. Followed by the KM game when his daughter Kate Mephan took over from her father. Long may they continue.
So what are my links for this week going to be��..Well not long till 9.00am when all will be revealed.

As for the everyday running of MM, I have followed the same rules as laid out by crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each link word may go in front of, or behind, my chosen word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when gen2 (pp crofter) will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.
My third set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
