Not sure if I understand your query as it appears to be in response to some other thread which I couldn't find (or some quiz I'm not a party to).
Is this a number progression sequence in which you have to find the next number.
A. If it is, I believe the next number is 22 using a number system similar to binary which only uses the numbers "1" and "2" (similar to binary which uses "0" and "1") i.e. so that the next number after 2 is 11 rather than 3.
B If it is not apologies for getting the wrong end of the stick and wasting your time.
