how many cars did the original 'midland pullman' diesel set have. have tried looking on their site ( hornby) but can't find it. can anyone help. thanks for all replys

This was made by Triang. I had a boxed set in the 60's and it had 3 cars, ( 1 drive unit, 1 centre car & 1 dummy drive car ).

Sorry. By original I thought you meant the real thing! The Hornby Triang set was 3 cars as described by badlad.
