I have a colleague who is an avid collector of airline sick-bags (really....). Does anyone know if there is an official name for someone who does this (polite please !).

No you're right Sylday (yet again!). I remember I swear, seeing something on the Guiness Book of Records or Record Breakers or something about the person who has collected the most sick bags! Very strange! Also other weird collections included sugar sachets and napkins!

Most such 'collector' names are made up from appropriate Greek root-words. Accordingly - using just that approach - I suggest you tell your friend that he/she is an emetosakoulophile.
