It looks like an anagram of B for British and cruise. Mark and Bernie Winters had a dog called surbice but @m not entirely sure about the spelling.
I thought it was an anagram of B + CRUISE. but that's 7 letters.Bernie Winters dog was Schnorbitz.
Poodle & Novalis I think this one was asked a few days ago (cant remember answer)-Snorbitz may have been Bernies dog

yes Ithink smouse said that collie had been suggested, but we couldn't see why, so we're no nearer the answer, which has 6 letters.

Irish setter and beagle are answers to other questions in the quiz. If its Basset, I can understand "B" for British, or even GB) but what has asset or its anagram got to do with cruise please? Thanks for your answers. I do appreciate your help.
What about "saluki"?

an anagram of sail (cruise) and UK (british).
