I have been feeling dizzy all day, went to the "walk in clinic" tonight on my way home from work, they have told me my BP is high and to drink plenty of liquids [ I have come home and drunk slowly over a two hour period, 4 pints of water] and to go to my GP on Monday, which I will do. Is there anything else I can do for the moment pls ?
I gave them a list of my meds but they did not suggest that I double the dose or anything. I still feel dizzy, I am on my own at home.

Could be a virus -I had same symptoms a couple of weeks ago -your BP may be up if youre anxious -I know mines goes up if I am worried.
Hope you feel reassured now -its a horrible feeling.

tks Drisgirl never thought of a virus, I thought I was about to pop my clogs ! but after eating 3 square meals today [ I have been sitting at a hospital bed side for 7 hrs each day and surviving on a hospital sandwich and 1 cup of coffee each day] and feel a bit lightheaded but nothing like I did yesterday with the dizzy spells, truly it was very scary.
best regards Dee
Glad you are feeling better Dee Sa. Take care of yourself.
