I've completed the grid --- this is the one about darts -- and completed the calculation, which leaves 36 to score.
To finish on a double requires double 18 which I cannot find within the grid. What am I missing ? Any hints will be gratefully received.

Are you sure that it is Spectator 1818 that you are doing ?

Cruciverbalist
(The reason I ask is that the preamble of 1818 doesn't mention highlighting anything in the grid)

As usual kayakamina you are a star !
Even when writing 1818 the penny didn't drop ; I was so busy trying to find something within the grid itself.
But I'm glad that it caused both of you to look again.

Many thanks .... regards.
.......I also suspect the inclusion of seven, nine and tenten in the grid was a trap for the unwary.

Also 6d Adenine......Add a nine !
(P.S. You did only ask for a hint, Ulysses)
