Question Author
Thanks Muffinbear & smouse, why lemur?
25. sloth
44....burning bright in the forests of the night. Why not tiger?
Tiger, from William Blake's poem, with a bit of poetic licence if you read the poem.
sorry not lemur - loris
because it is nocturnal
its hangs beneath trees and I found somewhere its face desciribed as being incandescent and no matter how hard I think I cant relate tiger tiger burning bright to the clue - lol
I'll come back and eat my words when the answers are out

Sounds good smouse
incandescent = burning bright
nocturnal trees = forests of the night
(maybe just me, but I don't see the problem)
and where is the beneath - still willing to eat humble pie later - lol
Even my son dares to say my loris is wrong but he does like it better than tiger
Surely a tiger in the forest is going to be "beneath the trees": It's hardly going to be in the trees or above the trees ?!
I've seen pictures of them in trees - lol
I love how we are all taking this so seriously and bet you are waiting to gloat when I am very very wrong.
