Just got my quiz back and scored 94 1/2 (sorry haven't mastered the fractions yet). Really pleased with that. I know I had help and gave some so a good all round effort thanks to ABers. I got 91 wrong went for Apolda and should have been Mandal and for 30 I put Wilson Island and should have been Fraser and we were right all along with Samarinda. Thanks again to all who helped, how did the rest of you do?

Haven't got mine back yet. So Sprain ada was a typing error then. Whyever wouldn,t the quiz setter confess that and save us hours of needless searching?
I'm sure I put Wilson Island too, instead of Fraser, but then they are both characters from Dads Army, and Sergeant or Private should have been in the question to say which was required, not just let us take pot luck which answer was correct.

Haven't had mine back yet, but I feel that Fraser Island is incorrect in that in Dad's Army it was FraZer not FraSer. I suppose I will fall foul of it too! Never mind, onward to the next.

Yes onward to the next and it arrived with my answer sheet I wasn't going to do it due to time restraints, holidays and garden etc but looked at it for an hour and I'm hooked again!!

Haven't got mine back yet can't remember if I put Fraser or Wilson in the end but also a bit cheesed off about samarinda not only did we at home spend no end of time looking for an alternative to samarinda I was asking the neighbours and all sorts. Actually, like you this time candled, I wasn't originally going to do it at all world geography being a weak point, but then I got hooked with a friend helping and did it after all - ah well!

I have spent countless hours on Matlock Quizzes in the past to find eventually that the clues were incorrect or anagrams had missing letters or answers were not unique or clues were too vague or elements were too obscure etc etc.

I would like to think I'm well up on wild flowers weeds and trees but will reserve judgement until I see the clues (hopefully without errors this time)

I haven't got mine back yet either, but fairly sure I went for Fraser Island, and certainly went for Samarinda even though it was an incorrect anagram. I agree with Munden that it was Frazer in Dad's Army and not Fraser but allowed for a little poetic licence. I await for my sheet to be returned with bated breath.

OK we,ve got our plants and weeds sheets. Where are the mistakes this time, before I spend hours looking for answers that don't exist?Or should I trust my AB friends to come up with the correct answers again, after all, somebody got them all correct!

thanks to help from ABers I scored 94 so just missed the 'big' prizes. Apart from Samarinda which I didn't write down I missed Mandal. Haven't looked at the new quiz yet, hope there are fewer errors this time - an apology afterwards with results seems a bit late in the day! I'm with poodledoo on this ( can't do without the help of AB and had real 'withdrawal' symptoms over weekend when unavailable
