I am currently paying a mortgage on a house my elderly father lives in (rent free) which is solely in my name. My husband also owns a property solely in his own name too. My father is legally entitled to live there until his death, however, things are not good at home and as I am paying for this I cannot contribute to our main mortgage which is in both our names.. how do I stand if it all goes pear shaped? Would I have any right to our marital home? I contribute to the bills etc, but cannot afford more - I am not in a position to move out and live with him, nor would I want to. Any advice would be appreciated..
