I had my nose pierced about 4 weeks ago, recently it formed a small lump which I'm afraid to say I picked at! Now it is weeping and bleeding whenever I clean it. it has been like this for about 5-6 days. I am cleaning it with warm water and "woundwash" am I doing the right thing and will it be OK? any advice or experiences on this appreciated thanks!!!

When you get a lump by it that is because you have knocked it, get some hydrogen peroxide from your piercer and use this for a small amount of time. It takes about 6 weeks for a nose piercing to heal. Get some antibacterial soap, dont use a towel near it and it should clear up ok.
Follow goodsoulettes advice to the letter, do not use any other antiseptic and see your piercer. It should soon be sorted!!

Do not take it out!!
i had mine done 5 years ago just make sure its kept clean .wait till you have a cold it gets in the way lol hope its ok dont take it out .

Thanks for advice guys! it seems to be getting better. I think I might have been over cleaning it and traumatising it too much! the lump is smaller now and less messy, hope it sorts itself out!
