KM = Kate Mepham [Daily Telegraph]

This is a fun exercise to see if you are able to predict the Link Words in the Herculis Crossword [in Saturday's DT[]

The four words to be linked SHOULD BE ENTERED below by the first ABer to complete the Saturday Crossword. They are also invited to record their four predictions as the first entry of many!

On Monday, when the Link Words are known, they can be entered on to the end of this posting by the first ABer to complete the Monday grid and the competition will come to a close.

The overall picture will materialise sooner [or later] depending on the planet and its angle with the axis of rotation - perhaps at a time when most are asleep!!!

These results will appear on an entirely fresh posting.

I will of course endeavour to aspire to crofter's impeccable level of tabulating the results and getting them published asap.

Good Luck everyone S

May I just hasten to reassure everyone that crofter will be posting a thread for the MM Link Word Game at some stage this afternoon and that both games will be run under the same scoring and rules - because of his work commitments I offered to score for this game for crofter and he [mad fool!!]
accepted the offer - so long as everyone enjoys it, that's the main thing and now I' m off to bed, so night night all S
Goodnight, seekeerz, and thank you for offering to take this on. One volunteer is worth two pressed men!
Thank you Seekeerz for taking this off Crofter and allowing him to get on with his work on Monday mornings.
Well done Seekeerz for taking this on and good luck.
Fancy that---- going to bed at one in the afternoon. No staying power some people!!!!
:o) R
Well done Steff ... but we still won't mention the cricket ! ;O)
Thanks seekeerz , enjoy these diversions from the crosswords .
Good on ya, seekeerz.
Don't mind the pommie teasing from over the pond - they'd all like to be able to go to bed in the afternoon if truth were known. We colonials are the stayers mate.
Good luck with your tabulating et al.
Don't be so enthusiastic - so that you fill the entire posting! The space below is for the first ABer who can solve the four clues corresponding to the shaded areas - and to list the set of words requiring LINKS. This will probably be jan (before she sets off for work).

The space below "jan"'s will be for our predictions. So you must return to this posting tomorrow to see the Words to be Linked and to make your predictions. Steff and I were expecting about 60 entrants, so do leave some space for continuous data entry (with or without text at that stage if you wish).

But, please, no more clutter on this posting before the four wards arrive.

I shall set out a trailer early evening.

I shall create the voting site tomorrow morning about 8.30am and go public with the four words at 09.00am (precisely as in previous weeks)

Now keep quiet around here - Steff is sleeping!
Typo: For "four wards arrive " read "four words arrive" of course!!

Please forgive this additonal "clutter"!
