Also an odd question I have, what does the question mark represent?

you could check if ditching was the name of a liverpool football centre forward - the other two are
I'm pretty sure there is a River Rush, and a River Crouch, but not sure about Ditching. I need the answer myself.
Roy Hattersley wrote a book called Busters Diaries ( about his dog)
Buster Keaton.. American actor and film director was born on 4th October 1895
Buster Crabbe, American swimmer and actor was born on 17th February 1907
...but ..I can't find any Busters to connect with 21st May 1960 !

May 1960 saw the first publication of the comic Buster. Maybe that is your link.
