Show Jumping is the correct term for Oxer
Egg position is when they cycle with their arms folded and hands tucked under their chests .....could be something else .....just trying to help.
egg position

The first skiers to adopt an aerodynamic

'egg' position were almost certainly the world's first speed skiers - the gold miners of the Californian mountains in the 1860s to 1880s, who used skiing as a relief from the terrible and dangerous working conditions they endured. They had little to fear, and had a taste for action.
egg position

Frances Jean Vuarnet didnt just win the 1960 downhill gold medal; he changed the face of skiing. Not only was Vuarnet the first gold medallist to use metal skis and no wax, but he is also recognized for having invented the egg position for skiing

Spoon may be golf ... it was formerly a golfing wood with an elevated face.

ok thanks for your help so far everyone- still missing answers for - hand in, miller, spoon, follower, laundry , circle, this one can be a few things but maybe is related to one sport more than any other, ohters i think i have right but maybe someone could confirm are -
axel - skating, brake man - bobsleigh, cover - snooker, down - rugby, bunt - fishing, hand in- netball.
I don't think cover relates to snooker, but covers is a fielding position in cricket.
I can confirm that axel is ice skating, and brake-man is bobsleigh, but it is touchdown (not just down) that is a rugby term.
