Not quite right outrageous, first of all he wasn't a murderer and secondly he wasn't the last person in this country to be hanged

The clue said he was ONE of the last convicted murderers to be hanged Kev and no one has cast an opinion as to whether he was guilty or not.

Quite to the contrary cheshunt many thousands have opined that he was clearly an innocent man and what is laughingly referred to as evidence proves he was not the killer of Michael Gregston

I haven't followed it closely, but didn't recent DNA evidence suggest he was guilty after all?

Yes otleybard you are correct in what you say, however consider this Valery story's clothing and James Hanratty's clothing have been kept in the same cardboad box for more than forty years and these people suddenly announce that Hanratty's DNA has been found on Valerie story's clothing and they then tell us (with a straight face) that there can be "no possible chance of cross contamination" Yeah right!

I have been researching miscarriage of justice for almost 40 years and this one is a clear case of the most corrupt system in the civilised world condemning an obviously innocent man before they will admit that they **cked up.
