Quite often my jaw clicks out of place. Sometimes it gets stuck in the wrong place & it hurts. Sometimes it's stuck kinda closed so I can't even open my mouth to yawn.

Is there anything I can do about this?? Apart from get someone to punch me in the jaw & hope for the best??

a punch in the jaw or your doctor a difficult one
I'd just go to doctors if its that bad that sometimes you cant open your mouth.
Speak to your GP.
My dentist noticed that mine clicks once and started talking about breaking and re-setting it :O and mine doesnt even lock up like yours does.
I get the same thing, and visited my GP a couple of months ago. He seemed pretty uninterested and told me to visit my dentist... My sister had this too when she was my age and promises I'll grow out of it. I find that taking a couple of painkillers sometimes helps because they ease the joint pain.
i have heard that a chiropractor can help with this - i know its sounds odd but its all connected apparently...
