I have a clicky jaw, is the only way to describe it.
Normally it is bearable, but at the present I am in so much pain, the doctor has prescribed Ibuprofen 200 x2- 3 times a day. I am still in much pain, any one else have this problem ?

So your joint not only clicks, but is painful?
400mgms three times a day is not adequate clearly.....I would increase to 600mgms 3times a day if necessary.

Sounds like Costen's Syndrome........Google it and get back to us if you need any further clarification.

Will do, many thanks.

i had this for years after an RTA, and couldn't get any orthodox or alternative help apart from pain relief, because nothing was showing on xrays etc.

then i did pilates (for pleasure) and it has greatly improved, just through better posture i presume.

still have days when other people think my jaw is broken though.

hope you have some relief soon x
