2d = reins (reigns)
26d does look like clamp to me.

clamp = to secure something

clamp also = a store of vegetables such as a potato clamp where they are piled up after harvesting and covered over. I suspect the 11 is a reference to clue/answer 11 which I imagine must be something to do with a store?
