2. Are you sure this is spelt correctly? I cannot find it in any dictionary not even the scientific ones, (nor on Google). What is the context?

Argee I havent a clue, that is the way it is in the quiz Ialso have searched all over - wandered if it might be from a book or something Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings or something

Am not sure that your Welsh Lily is a Daffodil! The Welsh for daffodil is cenhinen Bedr.The Welsh for Lily is Lili or Alaw. However the noun cenhinen also means Leek,and they are Alliums...so I wonder if Alaw means Allium?
