I have recently heard and enjoyed songs from Les Miserables and The Pirates of Penzance. Can anyone recommend similar musicals or songs of a similar style for me to try?

I'm guessing that you've heard an updated version of something from'The Pirates of Penzance'. Anyway, here are some of the other pieces by Gilbert & Sullivan (who wrote it) that you might like: 'HMS Pinafore', 'The Mikado', 'The Gondoliers', 'Iolanthe'. There are several more, but these are the most popular.
