Popping candy?
Save the Children Fund - Wisbech Branch
Closing date 14th October 2023
Issued 16th August 2023
27 Nougat

I don't see how the answer is nougat. I'm not saying it's wrong, I just can't parse it
It is sometimes called Nougat des Ducasses and apparently Ducass means fairground or village fair.
It's the best I can do Barry, and I don't know whether or not it's right.
Thanks, cashier. I was thinking of sweets beginning with LA or LE and getting nowhere
14 Mojos?
14 can only think of fudge?
14 - I can only think of Fudge too. Not done the others yet as not had the quiz long enough.
Kustard was not being rude. We are just trying to encourage you to type the title of the quiz and the closing date in the top line and the questions in the box as per the Answerbank guidelines.
Quizmaster has shown you below as well.
Fudge! Of course
Bluebell, Kustard told alexm he had to give a best answer, which he doesn't (I've never given one) and he has to say thank you. She was 'talking' to you about him, which is rude.
Apologies Cashier. I didn't realize Kustard had replied to my reply. I was trying to be helpful to Alexm to make it easier for him.
I have been looking at No.27 and Nougat comes from France so it looks the best option. Maybe I am wrong.
I often wonder why I bother to post. Always ridiculous comments. Learn to read Cashier. I didn't SAY Alexm HAD to say thanks or give a best answer. I said I thought people COULD do this. I certainly wasn't being rude Alexm. I was just pointing out that by now you should know the correct procedure which you obviously haven't still picked up on. Have a really nice day everyone!!
alexm, KUSTARD wasn't "very rude", she was reminding you about the guidance in this link, https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Quizzes-and-Puzzles/article/etiquette-for-asking-a-quiz-puzzle-or-crossword-question/

Including as much information as possible helps others when searching for previous threads about the same quiz.

Giving the exact wording of the questions saves those without the quiz from wasting time looking for or suggesting answers that don't fit.
Thank you so much Raving Mod. I felt really upset by the comments of Alexm and Cashier. And it was obvious that what I said about giving best answers was tongue in cheek though, to be fair, I do it because people all like to get best answers. Or am I wrong about that too?
27. Could this be bonbon or is that the answer to 38.French goods? Any help appreciated.
Not an answer, but can anyone help please with no8 of this quiz? It's my last one. 8. Nutty filled chocolate (6,4). Cheers
8. Maybe Walnut Whip but not sure?
Raving Mod - you may be a mod but I disagree with you!

In that thread Kustard and Bluebell conducted a conversation between themselves, criticising the OP but not by name. They were essentially talking behind someone's back and I consider that rude!!
Alexm is justified in responding that way - and you should not get involved if you cannot understand what rudeness is!

"No of course you're not Kustard. I just get frustrated when you try to help people to make it easier for them and they don't take your advice. They are the know-all people!"

"And, Bluebell, I hate it when people don’t say thanks and can’t be bothered giving “best answers”.
