Bbc Quiz : Week 31

Good evening!

A poor start for me this week, with my lowly score of just TWO out of seven in the main quiz:

I managed my usual ‘middling’ score of THREE out of five in the kids’ quiz this week:

The Timed Teaser proved tricky for me (as always!) but I managed a score of FIVE out of ten:

So that’s an aggregate of just 10 for me, which I’m sure most people will beat easily this week. Will you be one of them though?

I have faired better this week with my scores:
5/7, 4/5, 4/10
Enjoyed our family pizza night last weekend. After I puppy-proofed the house, my grandpuppy was very well behaved and seems to be making himself more and more at home when he visits. Have also had a lovely afternoon at my friend's house with her new kitty, who is now not so little and filling out nicely. She is looking more like your own Chequers.
Hope you and the terrific trio are doing well and all enjoy a fantastic week ahead :-)

The Terrific Trio are all doing well, thanks, as am I. Chequers has gone into super-affectionate mode lately, insisting on sleeping either alongside me (which severely limits my space in bed) or on top of me (which makes getting to sleep difficult). It's still wonderful to have his company though.

We're all making the best of the 'summer' weather here. (At least we're not expecting to battered by Storm Antoni, as I believe that you are. I hope that you'll get through it OK).
