It is a bit of an odd one. I got it in 4 but fully expected it to be wrong as I really don’t consider it a word.
got it in 3 only because I had first 3 letters right after 2 and i then tried it s a joke as its all i could think of
It's not a word that I would ever use. Then again I'm not in the military.
I can't really see a problem. The definitions of the word can be taken in many ways. To say anything else might give it away

I got in in 4 and I know the word.
An expletive* on a holy day is not clever.

A typo on a word question isn’t clever either *of*

// I can't really see a problem. /

I can see 5 problems.
Is it not an acronym for an expression. Admittedly a swear word starts with one of the letters but I personally cannot see a problem.
you could have FOUL instead of ***
I only got it because I've heard it in a film and there was little else I could try with the letters available however I don't consider it to be a word, presumably it is in New York :-)

// you could have FOUL //

*SPOILER*

The acronym on which the word originated the F is not for FOUL.

Sez who? Where you the first to use it?
I'd wager this word is the exact one used by JC as he was being nailed to the cross.

As an aside, Quordle have come up with a new game - Sequence - which is similar to the original, but only the top left square reveals the letters until the correct solution is found. Then the top right reveals all the correct letters thus far guessed - and so on.
Not a brilliant explanation of how it works - so you need to check it out.

The Oxford English Dictionary gives its origin and first recorded use as U.S. military slang.
The original acronym did not have a swear word in it
I gave up. Would never have got it. Never heard of it!! Looked it up and found out that 'fouled' has now been changed to a stronger word

I made the mistake having a look in at AB before doing Wordle......I am now officially a Genius :-))

haras2

You knew that already :-)
it's not a word.
It's an acronym that's morphed into a word - if the experts who compile dictionaries think it's a word then it's a word despite your belief TTT.
