Honours?
Some Brexiters would think it a just reward for his work getting us out of the EU.

Lord Cummins of Barnard castle has a nice ring to it . . .

I sincerely hope not Sandy
Oh yeah - give him a peerage for undermining the lockdown regs by going on a trip to test his eyesight? I don't think so.
Yes, he helped deliver us from EUSSR tyranny, well deserved.
He's lost any respect he had Tora
No issue with that. It means pretty much zero anyway. Plus he helped progress our reclaiming of sovereignty and showed the best way to treat the virus related demands of a controlling government.
A boot up the backside for the damage he has done?

Another honour for falseness and lying.
i don't much like the honours system at any rate.
getting us out of the EU, that's is something he has aided Boris with.
He should have been sacked in disgrace after the Ulverston disgrace. Did a lot of harm to Boris and his Party and was no help to the Country as a whole. imo.
the only person i was glad got a peerage was Captain Tom Moore, well deserved in my opinion, as to Cummings, don't much care.
There are a lot of other deserving people, emmie that deserve their honours but him? oh no.
Emmie - Captain Tom received a knighthood, not a peerage. Please get your facts right.
Okay Diddles, Emmie made an error, no need to be so douchey about it.

Cummings deserves a peerage about as much as most of the other lords and ladies out there, ie, not at all. When push comes to shove, he can be either a scumbag or an entitled scumbag, it changes nothing.
Lord Cummins or Go=out sounds good as well

or of go=lightly - - nice tiffanys gleam to it

so,e of the civil servant Lords who were slagging him off
were young themselves - one 48 y of age
how young they are and how well the govern us !
// Cummings deserves a peerage about as much as most of the other lords and ladies out there, ie, not at all.//

I love the way poster realise the irony or opposite may not be recognised by the people of AB
and so have to put in the correct form in brackets

ie, not at all - - - has a nice Dave Spart ring to it

Like Cassandy - I understand everything that is written here
but no one does, me
Is there any truth to the rumour that in the House of Commons' gents' toilet, the loo roll dispensers have a message above them - 'Peerages - please help yourself'?
“Lord Cummings of Barnard castle”

He didn’t see that coming ...
// Emmie - Captain Tom received a knighthood, not a peerage. Please get your facts right.//

why ? this is AB = and I agree it is often far funnier when they dont - I mean AH the gt AH didnt know who oscar wilde was a few days ago
( I bet he did really and it was just for effect)
