... doubtless we're in for more repeats to fill the gaps and to help to keep us entertained through this awful time. That being so, which programmes from the past would you like to see again?

Sometimes these old programmes are a disappointment when you see them again. I remember being asked something like this several years ago and said the original Bouquet of Barbed Wire and the first series of Rich Man, Poor Man but when I did watch them again I didn't find them as enjoyable now.
The Prisoner with the wonderful Patrick Mcgoohan, if only to try and work out what it was all about ...

You have a good point there. Since watching the sky chanel 'Dave' I've discovered some of the programmes I really likes are a bit hard to watch for various reasons.
However, I will always LOVE Dick Emery and wish they would bring his shows back. They never will though as even though I'm sure his characters were done with humour and respect, he is far too non PC for todays audiences.
I agree with The Beiderbecke Affair and Alias Smith and Jones and would add The Irish R.M.
Spender
Does anyone remember the excellent drama series 'Survivor'?
Butterflies with Wendy Craig
The Alec Guiness George Smiley series.
Harold Lloyd/Laurel and Hardy
Monty Python
Spike Milligan's Q
Classic Doctor Who
Sapphire and Steel

Of course, the Beeb/ITV are too busy squeezing extra pennies from us for their Britbox stream, so the won't put anything like that on terrestrial TV.
Ah yes, APOG, used to really enjoy watching Alias Smith and Jones with my Dad - one of the very few programmes he liked. I would look forward to Kid Curry winning a gunfight (in every episode) and Hannibal Heyes winning a poker game (in every episode).

Was never the same with the new actor after Pete Duel committed suicide, and I don't think it lasted long after that.

Another of my dad's favourites was The Rockford Files, which I'd like to see again.
St Elsewhere

Nurse Jackie
Terrrahawks
Star fleet
Metal Mickey ;-)
Oh yes Mamya, Nurse Jackie
Hawaii Five O
Dinner Ladies
