Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

We would like to host a charity quiz and curry night where question. Sheets are given out for guests to discuss and fill in throughout the evening (that can't be googled)
Apart from pictures and dingbats, are there any other good questions? I saw one once that had numbers: 11 PIAFT (11 players in a football team). That kind of thing

google ditloids you will get loads of ideas

In the picture round perhaps flags or breeds of dogs
Anagrams on a particular theme
Real names of stars
Capitals of countries - although they could be googled

Fibonacci

To make goggling anagrams more difficult perhaps omit or add one letter.
The extra added or omitted letters could also be an anagram for one of the answers.

Scents. Put smelly things on cotton wool balls a set of each per table I put them in the little seal top bags with numbers on. When I did it used bleach, lemon , lavender, mint, Bacardi, white wine, and because I am evil menthol crystals... You could just use different booze

What about cryptic clues to (local) place names? If you make them up yourself, it's harder to Google.
