I'm a bit late on this one from 'SANDYDEAN' on Friday who asked about a J.Bond anti hero of the 60's/70's.
John Gardner had a character called 'Boysie Oakes' a reluctant licence to kill with a boss named Mostyn. Very funny and very readable. Strange to say, John Gardner has recently also written a couple of James Bond books.
