That seems the likeliest answer to that one, thank you :)
6 Sixes for Torville and Dean in Sarajevo
Oh I'm never any good at these.
How about 4 Wednesdays, 3 Wednesdays, 2 Wednesdays, 1 Wednesday, 0 Wednesdays, Oh, no Wednesdays !
:-D
Question Author
Thanks FoxLee2 for the Torvill & Dean in Sarajevo.
Problem is, they actually scored 12 sixes...
3 x 6.0s alongside 6 x 5.9s for technical merit
and a full set of 9 x 6.0s for artistic interpretation.
But knowing that our quiz-setter does sometimes play fast'n'loose with his facts'n'figures, your answer is probably the one he wants! :)

I think it's 8 Planets and a Planetoid in Our Solar System.

@Old Geezer
I wouldn't be surprised if it's something along those lines but with some other W word... :)
4 very iffy ...... four wheels three wheel two wheels one wheel no wheels on my wagon
1... sixes scored for torville and dean etc
could 6 s and tt on ma be anything to do with masons aprons ?
looks good mally if the setter has keyed an N instead of an M
Question Author
Thanks Mally for your thoughts.
I guess the W clue could be to do with the song, though nothing like it appears at all in the lyrics and the song actually starts at 3 wheels...
As I said in a previous post, T & D actually scored 12 sixes so I'm not convinced about it though I wouldn't put anything past a quiz setter who last year thought that only 6 players are allowed on the bench in Premier League footy games when it's actually 7 :)
Question Author
W... Yes, it was a typo; should be M not N, so related to the Wagon song :)
And he did mean Torvill etc, but had done it from memory and hadn't checked how many sixes they'd actually received...! :)
I think it is 4 wheels,, 3 wheels etc, but should be OMW at the end
Ooops- I needed to tab down a lot further
Question Author
Just figured out 6 S so no need to worry about that one!
(I'll put my answer up later) :)
