Liminal
Question Author
Thanks Shaneystar, I've been away doing Godmothering duties this weekend and can now catch the post!!
It's actually Limenal I believe, from Saturday's DT

Limen..Limens and limina ..meaning threshhold.
Liminal ..relating to the point beyond which a sensation becomes too faint to be experienced. Chambers dictionary.
Anyway Tel whichever it is we can't be accused of "cheating"!!

I did look it up in my dictionary !!

Sorry shaneystar - should have checked - it comes from Limen (Latin for threshhold), but you are of course right it's Liminal.

Bows head in shame!

As found in 'subliminal' ! A more common word to most people?
