Whilst not a supporter of the EU for the UK, if we must be in it then a united EU with all rules laws, single taxation, education, health system etc etc is the only way forward.
So what's that? 3 countries out of 28.

Is that a new brexiters slogan - Where Bulgaria leads, the U.K. will follow.
regardless of the EU, any civilised country should ban it. Perhaps they'll allow an opt out for Gromit's St Mandela tea shop in Islington.
Way to go twisting a question Gromit.

Why dont you try actually answering the one put?
Banning identity concealing garb is the bigger priority to being allowed to wear whatever you wish. IMO it should be the case anywhere unless there is some kind of agreed justified circumstances.

But being in a united EU and deciding that in that case we should have no sovereignty at all, is the extreme nightmare scenario. In the event of a missed opportunity one has to get as much control of ones affairs within the group as it is possible to get.

As for whether all countries should follow the example of Bulgaria, that is up for them to decide. In this case it would be good if all independently opted to do the same.
I'm not a supporter of our membership of the EU but I'll answer the question anyway. The Islamic veil should be banned.
no
I think it should be banned for various reasons, security reasons eg helmets and other headgear not allowed in certain places. Personally I don't like talking to people when I can't see their face, I prefer that contact plus I think it makes people unapproachable.
Harmonisation usually goes down the route of the majority opinion overriding the minority one.

In this case, 25+ EU states have no ban, and a very small minority, two or 3 have a ban. So if the EU were to meddle in what people are allowed to wear, they would surely go for no ban.
quite right gromit, the last thing the EU want to do is meddle in the member states! Hang on!

A few years back when I used to ride a motorbike I couldn't walk into by Bank/Building Society wearing a crash helmet but the person next to me in the queue could wear a full face covering because of their religion,
Madness, of course they should be banned!
